Fans Think Sherrone Moore Is Lying Through His Teeth

This week, the University of Michigan submitted a 137-page response to the NCAA regarding its ongoing sign-stealing investigation.

Among the revelations, the report confirms that head coach Sherrone Moore, who was Michigan’s offensive coordinator at the time, deleted dozens of text messages between himself and staff member Connor Stalions.

Of course, the infamous Stalions is the man at the center of the whole scandal.

According to Michigan’s response, Moore claims he deleted the messages out of anger, not to conceal any wrongdoing.

“So, (I) deleted all the information – all Connor, on my personal phone,” Moore said in the document. “And it wasn’t to hide anything, it was just that – I was just extremely angry of, you know, the type of person that would do that to this program and these kids.”

Moore’s excuse has raised plenty of eyebrows across the college football world, especially considering what we know about the situation.

Needless to say, most fans weren’t buying Moore’s excuse and made that known loud and clear on social media…

“Can someone explain how Sherrone Moore still has a job?”

“Sherrone Moore saying he deleted his texts with Connor Stalions, not to erase his connection with him, but to erase him from his memory, is the funniest lie I’ve ever heard … ‘I was just extremely angry of the type of person that would do that to this program and these kids'”

“Dude is allergic to telling the truth.”

“Wow, that denial runs deep in ann arbor … Typical from a guilty stand point. They they taking the ‘liar liar pants on fire’ defense.”

“Been saying it. ZERO percent chance he’s their coach this season.”

“What if it turns out Sherrone Moore’s narced on Stalions and Harbaugh? Funniest possible outcome.”

“I know Sherrone Moore is mad but is he Brian Kelly talking about the same things mad?”

“The biggest lie to have ever been lied from Sherrone Moore… he certainly did learn a lot under Jailtime Jim Harbaugh.”

Michigan won the 2023 national championship under Jim Harbaugh with a perfect 15-0 record before Big Jim left for the NFL.

Moore took over as head coach, leading the Wolverines to an 8-5 season in his first year, including impressive wins over Ohio State and Alabama in the ReliaQuest Bowl.

As the NCAA investigation continues, Moore’s explanation remains under scrutiny, and Michigan’s program will likely remain in the spotlight.

Whether or not Moore’s rationale holds up, it’s clear this story isn’t going away anytime soon.
