The 2024 college football season is rapidly approaching. Kickoff in Dublin is just a week away and it can’t possibly get here soon enough.
This year brings significant changes, including major conference realignments and an expanded College Football Playoff field.
Interestingly, Brett McMurphy of Action Network has unveiled his personal top 25 rankings as we head into the new season.
McMurphy’s rankings highlight a strong showing for the revamped SEC, featuring nine teams in his top 25.
The Big Ten also makes a notable appearance with six teams, including McMurphy’s top-ranked squad, the Oregon Ducks.
The Big 12 is represented by five teams, starting with Utah, which leads the pack, followed closely by additional members at No. 11 and No. 12.
The ACC claims four spots on McMurphy’s list.
