Beloved CFB Coach Marries Former Stripper Known As The “Pole Assassin”

University of Texas assistant coach and special teams coordinator Jeff Banks recently celebrated his marriage to Danielle Thomas.

Banks shared the joyous news on social media, posting a photo of the newlyweds with the caption, “Incredible 72 hours with our family and closest friends … We truly love you all. Now off to Barcelona for our honeymoon!”

Jeff and Danielle have been together for approximately three years.

Their relationship faced public scrutiny in 2021 when a couple sued them, alleging that Thomas’ monkey had bitten their child. (That’s right.)

The lawsuit claimed that instead of being concerned for the injured child, Thomas was more worried about the fate of her monkey, stating that it had bitten her before without any rabies concerns.

“Instead of showing any semblance of care for an injured child, Danielle Thomas was instead worried about the risk of her monkey being taken away … Danielle Thomas stated to the physician that the monkey had bitten her before and that she was fine, implying that the monkey therefore did not have rabies,” the suit claimed.

Thomas, known by her stage name “Pole Assassin” from her days as an exotic dancer, has the alias listed in her Instagram bio.

She even appeared on ‘The Jerry Springer Show’ with her monkey.

As far as football is concerned, Banks has had a successful stint at Texas.

Under his guidance, kicker Bert Auburn set school records with 29 field goals and 143 points last season. The Longhorns won the Big 12 title and advanced to the College Football Playoff.

The 49-year-old Banks previously contributed to Alabama’s national championship victory in 2020 while working under Nick Saban.
