After Ryan Day’s Beard-Dye Revelation, Urban Meyer Takes Shot At Michigan

As the national champion Ohio State Buckeyes were being honored by President Trump at the White House, a familiar question popped in the minds of many – Does Ryan Day dye his beard???

OutKick founder Clay Travis is one of the many who is convinced that Day does in fact dye his beard.

“If you have a beard, and you dye your beard, you are not trustworthy. The whole purpose of having a beard is to embrace your rugged masculinity, and if you’re dyeing your beard, you are defeating the whole purpose,” Travis said.

“I think this is why people didn’t trust Ryan Day. I think Ryan Day’s approval ratings would go up a billion percent… Congrats on the national title, if you really want to be beloved, don’t dye your beard.”

However, Day’s beloved wife – Christina (Nina) Day – was quick to come to her husband’s defense.

Nina, who will celebrate 20 years of marriage to Ryan in June, decisively put an end to the speculation about his facial hair.

“I have known Ryan my entire life and he has never once died his beard. Move on to the next narrative,” Nina posted on X.

Love him or hate him, Ryan Day has now etched his name into the prestigious history of Ohio State football.

Once considered to be on the hot seat, Day silenced his critics by leading the Buckeyes on their dominant national title run last season.

Speaking of legendary Ohio State coaches, Urban Meyer has started to preview the upcoming season and revealed his true thoughts on the 2025 Michigan Wolverines.

Following the departure of head coach Jim Harbaugh, the Wolverines took a step back last season after hoisting the trophy in 2023.

Although their overall record of 8-5 was disappointing, Michigan’s shocking victory over rival Ohio State – their fourth straight in the series – more than made up for the “down” year.

But how will Sherrone Moore and company follow things up this coming season???

First, here’s a look at the complete schedule Michigan will face in 2025…

vs. New Mexico
at Oklahoma
vs. Central Michigan
at Nebraska
vs. Wisconsin
at USC
vs. Washington
at Michigan State
vs. Purdue
at Northwestern
at Maryland
vs. Ohio State

Meyer didn’t hold back on his prediction for the Wolverines.

“I think they’re an 8, 9 win team, which Vegas is right on it, looking at that schedule,” Meyer said. “I’m going to go 9 wins.”

While Meyer didn’t make a final call for the Michigan-Ohio State game, he emphasized that for the Wolverines to make the College Football Playoff with a nine-win record, they would need to continue their dominance over the Buckeyes, winning the rivalry game for a fifth consecutive year.

With the 2025 season fast approaching, Michigan is expected to open the year ranked in the top 25, though much of their success will hinge on the development of freshman phenom quarterback Bryce Underwood.

Of course, some Michigan fans would look at a nine-win season as a bit of a disappointment. However, some of those fans would say “consider the source,” knowing that Meyer isn’t exactly a Michigan Man.

What are your thoughts on Meyer’s prediction for the Wolverines? … More importantly, do you think Ryan Day dyes his beard???
