DJ Uiagalelei, the Oregon State quarterback, may not have disclosed his 2024 football destination yet, but a decision could be on the horizon as he approaches a visit next week.
According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, Uiagalelei is set to visit Florida State this weekend, a development that aligns with recent speculations in the college football community. Thamel had previously identified Florida State as a potential suitor for Uiagalelei.
Thamel stated, “We could see a return to the ACC. Two schools that have emerged as his top suitors are Florida State and Louisville. He has no visit set. Mississippi State has also shown some interest, but DJ could be making a cross-country trip back to the Atlantic.”
If Uiagalelei ultimately chooses Florida State, he could be a notable replacement for Jordan Travis. His prior experience in the ACC, combined with an impressive 2023 season, makes him a promising candidate.
