In a surprising move, Oregon State quarterback DJ Uiagalelei has entered the transfer portal and will seek his third team in as many years.
According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, schools are already lining up for Uiagalelei – with a few in particular being most aggressive in their pursuit.
Thamel stated on ESPN’s College Football Live: “As for DJ Uiagalelei, we could see a return to the ACC. The two schools that have emerged as his top suitors are Florida State and Louisville.”
Okayyyyy
Thamel says Louisville and FSU are the top two suitors for former Clemson and Oregon State QB DJ Uiagalelei. https://t.co/uYXIBTSytw

Mississippi State has also shown some interest … He has no visits scheduled as of now, but that will surely change.
Uiagalelei was a disappointment at Clemson, his first college stop.
He then transferred to Oregon State where he found great success this season.
He enters the portal as one of the best quarterbacks on the market.
How is one "Forever a Beaver" when they were literally "One Season a Beaver," and will call THREE schools home before all is said and done?

With 40 career starts under his belt, Uiagalelei offers a wealth of experience.
Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 252 pounds, the quarterback excelled in Oregon State’s offensive scheme, throwing for 2,638 yards, 21 touchdowns, and just 7 interceptions.
Louisville is considered one of the favorites for DJ Uiagalelei‼️ This would be an amazing pickup pic.twitter.com/ThvkezCs6j

Uiagalelei’s journey to stardom began in high school at Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco, where he was a five-star prospect ranked #12 overall and #2 in the 2020 recruiting cycle.
His college career has been a bit of a rollercoaster, but he seems to have turned a corner.
Needless to say, he will be looking for the perfect fit at his next stop when it comes to coaching and scheme.
Not to be rude, and I certainly appreciated DJ, but he didn’t “take” us anywhere. Ultimate team effort this year. He wasn’t better than anyone else on the team
