Former Michigan star offensive lineman Taylor Lewan and ex-Ohio State assistant coach Zach Smith had an interesting back-and-forth on Twitter Thursday night.
It started when Smith posted a video of Connor Stalions, the Michigan staffer at the heart of the sign-stealing scandal, on the sideline during last season’s game against Michigan State.
Hmmmm… telling the OC that the defense is bringing “Edge Pressure” before the play.
Cheating motherfuckers! These Michigan fans are in DENIAL‼️

Interns are in charge of most of the film break down and telling OC’s tendencies to lighten the work load so they can game plan.
Guess they didn’t do that at the USFL.

The two continued their quarrel, with Smith touting his coaching acumen even though Lewan, who was an NFL first-round pick and spent a decade in the league, was obviously the superior player. Lewan then invited Smith on his “Bussin’ with the Boys” podcast, and Smith said he’d be in, only to have Lewan rescind the “invite” in a trolling manner.
USFL? Killer diss. I have a 2-0 record coaching against your team when you were on the field, not that it matters or that it is a flex. Ask Vrabel. But sick burn.
It’s obvious you don’t know how gameday communication works. The nerdy fuck on the sideline told the OC what…

I didn’t say I could. But you came at me about coaching. About college gameday operation. Pretty extensive background in that realm.
Enjoy your evening. 🫡

With the Michigan-Ohio State game at the end of the month, expect even more social media fireworks between Wolverine and Buckeye supporters.
