YOU’RE KIDDING ME!!: Is This Star Tight End’s “Autograph” The Single Worst Signature You’ve EVER Seen In Your Life??

The 2024 NFL Draft has come and gone as we get closer and closer to training camp.

But before we can officially close the book on the draft, we must take a minute to recognize and appreciate the single-worst autograph of all-time.

Of course, I’m referring to tight end Ja’Tavion Sanders who was drafted in the fourth-round by the Carolina Panthers.

“Hey, @Jatavionsanders⁩. You got paid for an autograph. This isn’t one,” Darren Rovell posted on X with a Sanders SAGE autograph card attached.

Sanders was a standout tight end for the Texas Longhorns.

Now with the Panthers, Sanders is looking to make his mark in the NFL – Ideally a bigger mark than the one he makes for his signatures.

Autographed rookie cards are often coveted by fans and can fetch significant value, especially if the player goes on to have a successful career.

Despite the backlash over his autograph, Sanders remains focused on his future with the Panthers.

Carolina is hopeful that he can become a reliable weapon for quarterback Bryce Young and the offense.

After all, Young needs all the help he can get as he attempts to bounce-back from a disappointing rookie season.

The Panthers are entering the 2024 regular season with renewed optimism following a disastrous 2023 campaign.

With Sanders and other promising additions to the roster, fans are hopeful for a turnaround in the team’s fortunes on the field.

But even the most optimistic Carolina fan knows it’s going to take a little while – at least – for the team to team to grow into a contender in the NFC.

New head coach Dave Canales is a bright spot for the young team.

Known as a respected and inspirational leader, Carolina fans are hoping that Canales will help turn their fortunes around.

As for Sanders, he recently jokes that he hopes to become Greg Olsen 2.0.

It’s unclear whether he was talking about as a tight end or a broadcaster who will be replaced by Tom Brady, but we can safely assume the former.

What are your thoughts on Sanders’ autograph?

Is that indeed the worst signature you’ve ever seen?

Speaking of collectables, what’s your favorite piece of sports memorabilia that you own???
