WTF?!: Bryce Harper’s Exact Clone Was Spotted Feet From The Phillies Slugger & It Makes No Sense Whatsoever (VIDEO)

As one of the faces of not just the Phillies but Major League Baseball as a whole, Bryce Harper is one of the most recognizable stars in the sport.

However, fans were left speechless when they noticed not one but TWO Harper’s at a recent Phillies game.

Sound strange? … Well, it certainly was.

During the television broadcast of Philadelphia’s recent 9-3 victory over the San Diego Padres, baseball fans were treated to an unexpected sight behind home plate at Petco Park.

A man bearing an uncanny resemblance to the Phillies slugger caught the attention of viewers, sparking amusing commentary from the broadcast team.

As the camera panned to the stands, focusing on the Harper lookalike, Phillies play-by-play announcer Tom McCarthy and color analyst John Kruk couldn’t help but remark on the striking similarity.

The clip of the exchange went viral on social media as fans found themselves cracking up over the bizarre scene.

In the clip, Kruk pondered what a fan might be shouting at Harper, to which McCarthy humorously suggested that the fan could be pointing out the doppelganger in their midst, dubbing it “doppelganger night at the ballpark.”

“Bryce is so good, he can hit and sit in the stands and watch at the same dang time,” Kruk humorously said.

Harper ended up going 1-for-5 at the plate, but he did hit a home run which helped contribute to the victory.

For the season, the 31-year-old seven-time All-Star is batting .233 with 6 home runs and 18 RBI’s.

The Phillies currently stand at 21-11 and have gotten off to a very solid start to the season. Competing in the loaded NL East won’t be easy as Philly heads deeper into the season. But they’re as well-equipped and experienced as anyone.

As far as Harper’s clone – it brings up memories of Aaron Rodgers’ famous doppelganger from his Green Bay days…

What are your thoughts on Harper’s clone?

Who’s the better doppelganger: Rodgers or Harper’s?

More importantly, what are your thoughts on Harper and the Phillies this season?

Is this the year they FINALLY get over the hump and win the World Series???
