Will Aaron Boone Be Fired??: Aaron Judge Makes His Opinion Extremely Clear

As the New York Yankees continue their disappointing season, the team finds itself in a unique situation. Despite playing better of later, a playoff spot remains extremely unlikely.

Amid the challenging season, speculation regarding the job security of manager Aaron Boone has been rampant. Many fans have grown sick and tired of the constant underachieving in the Bronx.

However, the reigning AL MVP Aaron Judge stepped forward to express his unwavering support for Boone and the recently appointed hitting coach, Sean Casey, in an interview with SNY’s Andy Martino.

“I’ve been with Boonie all the way since 2018. He’s the guy,” Judge confidently stated.

When asked about the reasons behind his endorsement, Judge cited Boone’s steadfast presence during both the highs and lows of their journey together.

“He has been there for us in good times and bad times,” Judge explained. “The guy shows up and supports his players. You can probably tell by the amount of times he’s been thrown out of games that he always has our back.”

Despite not being questioned about Sean Casey specifically, Judge offered praise for the hitting coach, who assumed the role in early July. Judge described Casey as “one of the best baseball guys around.”

While Judge’s support carries significant weight within the organization, he acknowledged that the ultimate decision regarding the coaching staff rests with general manager Brian Cashman (who should be on the hot seat as well, but isn’t) and owner Hal Steinbrenner.

Nevertheless, Judge’s public show of confidence in both Boone and Casey is likely to at least count for something.

What do you think the Yankees should do?

Should Boone be fired?
