Born on March 9, 2000, in Dearborn, Michigan, Hutchinson comes from a family with a strong football background. His father, Chris Hutchinson, was also a standout defensive lineman for the Wolverines in the 1980s.

During his high school career at Divine Child High School in Dearborn, Aidan Hutchinson was highly regarded as a talented athlete. He played football and excelled in multiple positions, including defensive end, tight end, and punter.

He was named a USA Today High School All-American and was rated as a four-star recruit by various recruiting services.

In 2018, Hutchinson enrolled at the University of Michigan, following in his father’s footsteps. He made an immediate impact as a freshman and became a regular starter on the defensive line.
