it’s Los Angeles Chargers do-everything running back Austin Ekeler!

Born on May 17, 1995, in Eaton, Colorado, Ekeler attended Eaton High School where he excelled in both football and track and field. In football, he played as a running back, wide receiver, and defensive back. He rushed for over 1,300 yards and scored 27 touchdowns during his senior year.

However, despite his impressive high school career, he received limited attention from college recruiters and ultimately walked on at Western State Colorado University.

During his time at Western State, Ekeler had a remarkable college career. He set numerous school records and earned multiple All-American honors. He finished his college career with 5,857 all-purpose yards and 55 total touchdowns, establishing himself as one of the most productive players in Division II football history.

Although he wasn’t invited to the NFL Scouting Combine, Ekeler showcased his skills at his Pro Day, impressing scouts with his speed and agility. In 2017, he signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent.
