WHO IS THIS NFL HEAD COACH???

Fresh off representing the NFC in the Super Bowl, it’s Philadelphia Eagles Head Coach Nick Sirianni!

Nick Sirianni, the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, is heading into his third season with an impressive 23-11 overall record, making him the winningest head coach in their first two years with the franchise.

He is one of just two coaches in Eagles history to secure back-to-back postseason berths. In 2022, Sirianni led the team to a remarkable season, resulting in an NFC East championship, a conference title, and a Super Bowl LVII appearance.

Coming from a family with a strong background in football coaching and education, Sirianni developed a winning culture based on five core values: connection, competition, accountability, football IQ, and fundamentals.

Under his leadership, the Eagles saw significant improvements in their win totals, going from 9-8 in 2021 to an impressive 14-3 in 2022. This achievement made him only the second coach in NFL history, after Bill Walsh, to add five or more wins to their team’s record in consecutive seasons.

During the 2022 season, Sirianni’s coaching resulted in a record-breaking performance for the Eagles. The team set numerous single-season records, including points scored, total touchdowns, scrimmage touchdowns, rushing touchdowns, total first downs, third-down conversion rate, fourth-down conversions, red zone touchdown efficiency, and defensive sacks.

The Eagles also finished among the top three teams in both total offense and defense for the first time since the NFL merger in 1970.

Sirianni’s teaching skills, combined with his contagious energy and passion for the game, led to impressive performances from many players in 2022, particularly Jalen Hurts, who was the NFL MVP runner-up and earned All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors.

Other players, like A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, set franchise records during the season. Additionally, the Eagles became the first NFL team to have four players with 10 or more sacks in a single season.

His success as a head coach helped propel his defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon and offensive coordinator Shane Steichen to head coaching positions after the 2022 season.

Before joining the Eagles, Sirianni served as the offensive coordinator for the Indianapolis Colts, where he helped the team excel in various offensive categories and saw several players earn Pro Bowl selections.

Sirianni’s coaching journey began at the collegiate level, and he had a successful playing career as a wide receiver at Mount Union, winning three NCAA Division III National Championships.

He hails from a family deeply rooted in football, with his father and brothers also involved in coaching at various levels.
