WATCH: You’ll NEVER Believe How Much Money Was Wagered On Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffaloes This Season … Is He Good For The Sport??

The Colorado Buffaloes were one of the biggest stories in all of college football this past season.

Of course, the sole reason for all of that attention was Deion Sanders … Coach Prime, at least for a while, took the sport by storm.

The television ratings for Colorado games speak for themselves. In the early part of the season, they led the majority of sports shows and were the talk of the town everywhere they went.

Of course, that all came crashing down as the Buffs finished on a six-game losing streak which plummeted them to 4-8 on the season and a spot in the basement of the Pac-12 with a 1-8 conference record.

It was certainly fun while it lasted though!

As a matter of fact, the hype and hoopla surrounding Coach Prime and the program was so great that Sanders told Robert Griffin III on his “RG3 and The Ones” podcast that a whopping $700 million was wagered on Colorado games this past season.

Sanders, a two-time Super Bowl champion, came to Colorado after a successful three-year tenure with the Jackson State Tigers.

During his time at Jackson State, Coach Prime compiled an impressive 27-6 record and led the school to consecutive SWAC Championships in 2021 and 2022, establishing his reputation as a formidable head coach.

Looking ahead, the Buffaloes are gearing up for the 2024 season, kicking off with a challenging road contest against rival Nebraska on September 7th.

Coach Prime and Colorado have a whole lot of work to do between now and then to recapture the momentum they once had.

What are your thoughts on Sanders? … Is he good for college football?

Will he ever be as good of a coach as he is a promoter?

Do you think Colorado will bounce back next season and have a shot at a playoff spot???
