WATCH: Vince Young Gets KNOCKED OUT In Ugly Bar Fight … Was He Out Of Line??

Former NFL quarterback Vince Young recently found himself in the midst of a violent altercation at a bar in Houston.

According to TMZ, the ugly incident which saw Young get knocked out occurred back on February 9th.

Video footage obtained by TMZ revealed that the altercation started with an argument between Young and a group of males at Tokyo Joe’s Shot Bar.

The situation got physical with Young appearing to be held back by someone before as a tussle ensued. 

As the fight moved to the side of the bar, one individual was observed holding Young by the shirt before delivering a blow to his face.

The punch was delivered clean to Young’s face and sent him to the floor. 

The assailant, seen walking away while removing his shirt, was not identified in the report.

The bar’s owner reportedly called the Houston Police Department, who arrived on the scene shortly after. 

The owner claimed to have had a drink thrown in his face and received an elbow to the head during the altercation.

No arrests were made, and the names of those involved were not disclosed.

TMZ reported that the bar’s owner chose not to press charges.

Young was of course responsible for one of the greatest moments in college football history when he led the Texas Longhorns to a dramatic upset victory over Pete Carroll’s USC Trojans in the 2005 national title game. 

Young was drafted #3 overall by the Tennessee Titans in the 2006 NFL Draft. 

Although he never lived up the hype, Young led a respectable NFL career that saw him earn two Pro Bowl nods. 

He was enshrined in the College Football Hall of Fame in 2019 thanks to his legendary Longhorns career. 

As far as the bar fight, there are many details that remain unknown. 

It’s unclear who started the fight or what exactly was said to cause it to escalate.
