Tim Tebow is arguably the greatest college football player of all time. Few know the college game as well as him. When he speaks, people listen (especially when it has to do with Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffaloes.)
Prime’s Buffs are the talk of college football and in an interview with On3, Tebow gave his thoughts on all the excitement in Boulder.
“I love it, but I also love it because he’s doing it his way,” Tebow said. “And I love it because he’s doing it with such passion and love and belief and build-up of young men.”
“I think that’s something that sometimes gets missed. I look at what he says to them, look at the way he’s able to believe and then pour into them.”
Tebow was particularly impressed with Sanders’ ability to inspire and motivate his players.
“They believe they can do more and accomplish more after they’ve been around him than before. That’s a sign of a good coach. That’s a sign of building confidence. That’s a sign of encouragement, of real encouragement. And I love that.”

The former Heisman Trophy winner also predicted that Prime’s coaching style would attract more players to the Colorado program.
“I think you will continue to see more players be intrigued by the way he’s doing it because I think there’s a lot of players that want to have pressure on them, but they also want to be encouraged and inspired in the moment, and that’s what Prime is doing.”
Colorado’s performance on the field has been nothing short of impressive, already surpassing last season’s win tally with victories over TCU and Nebraska.
Deion’s son, Shedeur Sanders, has been a key factor, leading an up-tempo offense with 903 passing yards and six touchdowns in two outstanding performances that have catapulted him into the Heisman discussion.
Tebow didn’t hold back in his admiration for the Buffaloes, describing their play as “inspired” and “fearless” early in the season.
Colorado looks to improve to 3-0 as they take on in-state rival Colorado State tomorrow night in Boulder before next week’s showdown against the Oregon Ducks.
What are your thoughts on Sanders and the Buffaloes?
Can they sustain this level of success?
