WATCH: Stephen A. Smith Absolutely Destroys The Cowboys As Houston Inches Closer To Becoming “Texas’ Team” … Which Franchise Is In Better Shape??

The Buffalo Bills made major headlines yesterday with their shocking decision to trade Pro Bowl wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans for multiple draft picks.

Although it seemed that Diggs had worn out his welcome in Buffalo and a move may be happening, it’s not every day that you see a player of his caliber be sent out of town.

The NFL world largely applauded the Texans for pulling the trigger on the deal.

As a hungry organization that’s clearly heading in the right direction, Houston is certainly taking an “all-in” approach as they move forward with quarterback sensation C.J. Stroud.

Following a tremendous rookie season where he led the Texans to the playoffs, many people feel that Stroud could soon catapult himself into “elite” status in the league.

Acquiring a weapon like Diggs will certainly help matters.

The always opinionated Stephen A. Smith of ESPN looked at the trade from the lenses of the Dallas Cowboys.

He couldn’t help but notice that while Cowboys owner Jerry Jones verbally expressed that Dallas would be “all-in” on improving the team this offseason, the fact of the matter is they haven’t done much of anything.

As a matter of fact, many people feel like the Boys have actually regressed.

While Jones talked the talk, it’s actually the Texans who seem to be walking the walk.

“The big headline is [the Texans] are probably the best team in Texas,” Smith said on ESPN’s First Take. “All the Houston Texans are doing is saying, ‘Howdy! We’re here. And our focus is on the right things.’”

“I don’t know what’s on the schedule, but I’m hoping it’s Houston against Dallas. So what’s going to happen with the Dallas Cowboys, they’re going to sit up there and they’re going to monitor this situation. It’s one thing for you to not win a Super Bowl, that’s bad enough. It’s one thing for you to not make an NFC championship in 29 years, that’s even worse. But it’s another thing entirely when you ain’t even the best team in Texas,” Smith added.

While the Cowboys are the biggest brand in all of football, they have constantly underperformed on the field, especially in big games.

Dallas fans won’t soon forget their nightmare loss at home against the young Green Bay Packers in the playoffs last season.

Of course, Smith is well-known to be a crap-stirrer when it comes to “America’s Team.”

However, he makes a good point when comparing where exactly the two Texas teams stand right now.

What are your thoughts on Smith’s comments?

More importantly, what do you think about the Texans aggressive trade for Diggs?

Do you think Stroud is the real deal? Or do you sense a sophomore slump coming?

Which franchise, Dallas or Houston, is in better shape moving forward???
