WATCH: Stefon Diggs Confirms What Many Suspect As He Reveals His Brutally Honest Opinion Of Josh Allen … Wasted Talent??

One of the biggest storylines of last season surrounded Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs.

Between his sideline blowups and his vanishing role in the Bills offense, it became painfully obvious that Diggs was growing very unhappy in Buffalo.

Of course, Diggs ended up being traded to the Houston Texans in a blockbuster trade earlier this offseason.

Once considered an elite receiver, many are wondering just how much Diggs has left in the tank. While always dangerous, his explosion and separation ability has clearly diminished over the past year.

Perhaps the change of scenery will help him resurrect his career.

One thing is for sure – Diggs is excited about his new opportunity in Houston and is looking forward to teaming up with Pro Bowl quarterback C.J. Stroud.

But what about his old quarterback, Josh Allen?

Was there anything to all of the drama and nonstop rumors of his unhappiness???

Diggs spoke about just that, along with his entire football journey as a whole…

“When I left Minnesota, I was a good player. But I always felt more for myself. I felt like I was better than that. And that I could be better than that. And kind of up to that point, I was just like ‘Sh*t, I’m going to roll the dice and bet on myself,'” he said.

“When I got to Buffalo, Josh was and still is my guy. People don’t really understand what it’s like to be out there. He really embraced me. We spent a lot of time together and I probably wouldn’t be right here if it wasn’t for him.”

Prior to his tenure in Buffalo, Diggs had amassed impressive statistics during his time with the Vikings.

However, his performance reached new heights upon joining forces with Allen in Buffalo.

Since his arrival in 2020, Diggs has consistently ranked among the league’s top receivers, earning All-Pro honors twice and securing four Pro Bowl appearances.

Addressing his departure from Buffalo, Diggs acknowledged a sense of inevitability leading up to the trade.

He cited changes within the coaching staff and fluctuations in his production during the 2023 season as contributing factors.

“We had some ups and downs especially after the first eight games. We got a coaching shift and different things going different ways, different schemes,” he said.

“You know the ups and downs of it. I kind of felt it in the air a little bit … I told God to light my path and here I am, so He makes no mistakes.”

Despite the challenges, Diggs expressed gratitude for his time in Buffalo and the opportunity to grow alongside Allen.

Now, in Houston, he is embracing his role as a veteran presence for the Texans’ younger receivers.

“What I’ve seen is a guy who I thought we would get. A guy who’s made plays and every time we’ve thrown him the ball, he’s come down with it,” head coach DeMeco Ryans said.

“Sure-handed guy. A really good teammate, a great energy around the building and in a locker room with the guys. So I’m excited to continue to see his growth.”

Throughout his transition to Houston, Diggs has maintained a focus on leadership and supporting his fellow teammates.

Stroud has certainly taken notice of Diggs’ new and improved attitude.

“Diggs is fitting in great, he’s come in with his head down and just working,” Stroud said. “He’s helping me out a lot. He’s come in and been a leader, which I’m proud of him for.

“He’s been unselfish and wanted to see other guys eat. That was his main thing he wanted to be around dogs. He stepped into that role where there’s a dog everywhere.”

What are your thoughts on Diggs joining the Texans?

Will he be able to regain his old All-Pro form? … Or are his best days behind him?

As for his comments on Allen, do you think Diggs was just playing nice? … Or was the drama between the two way overblown???
