WATCH: Sheduer & Shilo Sanders SKIP Colorado Team Meeting To Attend A Fashion Show … Has Deion Lost Control??

Colorado head coach Deion Sanders always preaches the importance of leadership and accountability – just as he should.

His Buffaloes kicked off their preparations for the 2024 season with their very first team meeting last week.

It goes without saying that you would expect the face of your team – your quarterback, your leader – to be front and center at the meeting.

However, that was far from the case as Shedeur Sanders and his brother Shilo were nowhere to be found.

Why you ask??? Where were they you wonder??? … Well, they were in Paris for Fashion Week of course.

Deion’s two sons walked in the Louis Vuitton Menswear show while representing Pharrell Williams’ 2024 Fall-Winter Collection.

“We want to be multidimensional … We don’t want to be just football,” Shilo told Pharrell.

The musician responded: “You already are … It’s just that society makes you think that you are not. And you aspire to be other things, but you guys do so many things already.”

Shedeur and Shilo both had their father’s blessing to miss the team meeting in order to attend the fashion show.

Of course, fans have pointed out that it was hypocritical of Coach Prime to allow two of his leaders to skip an important team meeting in favor of a runway show … There’s not a single player on his team not named Sanders that he would allow to do that.

“We don’t play tardiness,” Deion has previously said … (I guess it’s better to be a complete no-show rather than be late in Prime’s book.)

Two of Deion’s greatest joys in life are money and attention … It seems like the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree for Sheduer and Shilo – and that’s completely fine.

After all, Sheduer ranks #2 in On3’s NIL Valuation rankings while Shilo ranks #17.

Maybe the trip to Paris wasn’t as counterproductive as it seems.

After all, the Sanders brothers ran into rapper Quavo who shared his football wisdom with them.

The Buffaloes suffered through a frustrating 2023 season which saw them finish with a 4-8 record, good for last place in the Pac-12.

The Sanders clan will look to bounce back next season when they officially enter the Big 12 conference.

Sheduer will enter the season as a Heisman Trophy candidate and is expected to be a first-round draft pick when the 2025 NFL Draft rolls around.

What are your thoughts on the Sanders brothers skipping Colorado’s team meeting to attend a fashion show?

Would Deion allow any other player to do what he let his sons do?

Do you think this whole thing is just being overblown and it’s no big deal at all?

As far as actual football goes, do you think the Buffaloes will bounce back next season???
