WATCH: Randy Moss Names The Best Wide Receiver In NFL History … Is He Crazy?!?

In a recent interview with comedian Kevin Hart, legendary wide receiver Randy Moss revealed his thoughts on who the greatest receiver of all-time is.

Unsurprisingly, Moss boldly declared himself as the greatest to ever play the game, despite Jerry Rice being considered by most to be the undisputed best.

“Hands down, I consider myself as the greatest wide receiver to ever play the game,” Moss confidently told Hart.

“It wasn’t a shot at Jerry. I still have respect and love for Jerry, but I just thought the way that I changed the game of football,” he added.

Moss, who sits at fourth in all-time receiving yards (15,292) and second in receiving touchdowns (156), later unveiled his Mount Rushmore of wide receivers, featuring himself, Jerry Rice, Terrell Owens, and Calvin Johnson.

While Moss’s self-confidence is admirable, the statistics tell a different story.

Jerry Rice, who holds the all-time records with 1,549 receptions, 22,895 receiving yards, and 197 receiving touchdowns, remains at the top of nearly any receiver list you’ll see.

Most importantly, Rice won three Super Bowls, which is three more than Moss.

Rice received 10 All-Pro nods during his illustrious 20-year career, eclipsing 1,000 yards in 14 seasons, including 11 straight years with the San Francisco 49ers from 1986 to 1996.

As a three-time Super Bowl champion, Rice also boasts NFL postseason records with 2,245 receiving yards and 22 touchdowns.

While Moss did break Rice’s single-season touchdown record with 23 in 2007 and averaged more yards per catch (15.6) than Rice (14.9), the sheer dominance and longevity of Rice’s career make the debate seem like an open-and-shut case.

What are your thoughts?

Who is the greatest wide receiver of all-time?

Who is on your Mount Rushmore???
