Only a few short months ago, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni was the King of Philadelphia.
Now, according to a large portion of the Eagles fan base, he’s nothing but a bum.
Following the shockingly brutal end to the season, one Birds fan couldn’t resist the urge to let Sirianni know what he thought of him.
While leaving the field following the Eagles lifeless 32-9 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, an Eagles fan was filmed dumping a bucket of popcorn on the once-popular head coach.
(Or at least trying too anyway.)
“You’re done, Nick. You’re done,” the fan yelled.

Despite attempting to flee, stadium security quickly intervened, and the individual most likely got slapped with a stadium ban … Although, he probably wasn’t planning on attending many more Bucs games.
The incident highlights the intensity of the disappointment among Eagles fans, who had high expectations for the team after an impressive 10-1 start to the season.

“We believe in ourselves,” Sirianni said after the loss.
“I’m not sitting in this room for any reason, and it’s the same thing with these guys. I’m really not built that way, what gives me the confidence to think that we can fix it is because we believe in ourselves and we’re in these seats at the top of our profession because we worked our ass off to get here.”
That’s all well and good – but Philly fans have grown sick and tired of hearing the same coach-speak week after week after week with no results to show for it.

There’s a very realistic chance that Sirianni ends up losing his job over how ugly things have gotten.
If that happens, it will undoubtedly be one of the quickest falls from grace that the NFL has ever seen.

Should Sirianni be fired? … If so, should owner Jeffrey Lurie try to hire Bill Belichick before Jerry Jones does in Dallas?
