WATCH: Davante Adams Reveals The Shocking Truth When Asked If He Regrets Forcing His Way Out Of Green Bay … What Could Have Been??

Davante Adams is universally-regarded as one of the top wide receivers in all of football.

Shockingly, Adams was never able to win a Super Bowl with Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay. The pair of future Hall of Famers routinely earned favorable playoff routes but failed to capitalize.

At the end of the day, Adams forced his way out of Green Bay and was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders.

Besides being his childhood team, Adams’ biggest motivation to join the Raiders was to reunite with his college quarterback and good friend, Derek Carr. (The Packers graciously honored his desire to head to the desert.)

Unfortunately for Adams, we all know how that went…

With Carr now in New Orleans, Adams has been dealing with a bit of a quarterback carousel in Vegas.

Looking ahead, he will be catching balls from the winner of the Gardner Minshew / Aidan O’Connell competition.

Realistically, Minshew probably ends up being the guy. If that’s indeed the case, there are much worse situations for Adams to be in.

Minshew is one of the most underrated quarterbacks in the league and is more than capable of helping the Raiders make the playoffs.

Having said all of that, you have to wonder if Adams regrets forcing his way out of Green Bay.

Besides taking one final crack at the Lombardi with Rodgers, Adams would have ended up linking up with Rodgers’ replacement, Jordan Love. (That’s if Rodgers would have ever left in the first place. Maybe Adams staying in Green Bay would have convinced Rodgers to do the same.)

Adams addressed this very question when he sat down for a conversation with teammate Maxx Crosby on “The Rush” podcast.

“In hindsight, the kid (Love) is a f*ckig baller, man. I’m so happy for him,” Adams said. “I haven’t had the chance to truly sit down and talk with him.”

“But I want to tell him at some point ‘I definitely don’t regret changing (teams), but I’m super proud of what you’ve done.’ … If there was a way I could pull you over here and drag you with me that would have been cool too.”

Adams continued to gush over Love’s growth and development while also making it clear that he doesn’t regret leaving the Packers. (Or maybe he does justtt a little.)

“Obviously we saw what he did at the end of the year. I don’t regret what I did, but, at the same time, it’s definitely you look back on it like ‘damn that boy kind of balling right now.’”

Love indeed showcased his talent by leading the Packers to the playoffs last season, where they shocked the heavily-favored Cowboys on the road in Dallas before falling short against the San Francisco 49ers in the divisional round.

Despite his impressive progress, Love still has plenty to work on.

If he can improve his accuracy and overall consistency, he has the potential to join the top-tier of quarterbacks in the league. He just needs to keep working hard and getting better.

As for Adams, he spent the past few seasons extremely unhappy in Vegas. But that had to do with the struggles at quarterback and his rocky relationship with (since-fired) head coach Josh McDaniels.

The Raiders hiring Antonio Pierce as McDaniels’ permanent replacement is said to have breathed new life into Adams, Crosby and the entire team.

Vegas also improved greatly in the draft. While they had their eyes on quarterbacks Jayden Daniels and Michael Penix Jr., both were long gone before their pick … But luckily for them, the best player in the entire draft may have fallen right into their laps at #13 – tight end Brock Bowers.

What are your thoughts on Adams’ comments?

While he kind of played both sides, do you think deep down he regrets forcing his way out of Green Bay?

Does he secretly wish he was playing with Jordan Love?

More interestingly, do you think Rodgers would have ended up staying in Green Bay had Adams never been traded???
