WATCH: Antonio Brown Makes Surprising Revelation About Caitlin Clark Before Stooping To New Low … Is He A Lost Cause At This Point??

It wasn’t that long ago that Antonio Brown was considered one of the very best wide receivers in all of football.

There were stretches during his career where it looked like he was a lock to be in Canton one day.

However, since his NFL career ended, he’s done his best to make sure that he’s remembered most for the insane and insulting comments he makes rather than anything he actually did on a football field.

His latest target is women’s basketball superstar Caitlin Clark.

Brown has been firing daggers at Clark for a while now.

However, it seems like he’s finally backing off a tad…

Appearing on Jason Whitlock’s show, Brown expressed his respect and admiration for Clark and insisted that all of his past shots at her were merely made in jest.

“Caitlin Clark, we love you. There’s no drama here. I’m excited about what you’re gonna do for women’s basketball,” Brown stated.

“You’re an amazing player. I love to watch your game, and you bring a lot of excitement and energy.”

“When people like me in the media bring an awareness to you, maybe in the wrong or the right, it’s all in positivity. It’s all fun and games. Continue to be great. Continue to keep focused on being the best athlete you want to be. Continue to lead women’s sports,” Brown added.

Brown would go on to invite Clark to join him for a chat about her life experiences…

“(I) would love to have you talk, express what you deal with, your traumas, your adversities, how you continue to be great,” Brown said, adding that all of his previous comments about Clark were “all in fun and games.”

Brown couldn’t help but finish with one final dig at Clark, saying: “Shoutout to you, Caitlin Clark. And if it’s hairy, don’t worry about it.”

Clark set the sports world on fire this past college basketball season where she and her Iowa Hawkeyes became must-watch television.

Clark is now off to the WNBA after being draft first overall by the Indiana Fever.

She will make her professional debut on Tuesday, May 14th, against the Connecticut Sun.

Brown touched on many topics during his conversation with Whitlock.

One of the most interesting moments was when he got emotional speaking about his time playing for Mike Tomlin in Pittsburgh..

“Man, that dude was like my pops to be honest. Ever since I met Mike Tomlin, like I always knew, I’d have success… Mike was that father figure to me,” Brown said.

Let’s not get all warm and fuzzy though.

Brown has said some pretty horrible things over the past few years and hasn’t shown any signs of growing up or maturing.

It’s only a matter of time (minutes) before he makes his next ridiculously insulting comment about someone.

What are your thoughts on Brown’s comments?

I know he’s just looking for attention and I’m taking the bait by writing about him.

But do you think he will ever grow up? … Or is he a lost cause at this point???
