“WALKED THROUGH FIRE!!”: Shocking Details Emerge From The Sudden & Abrupt Divorce Of Darren Waller & Kelsey Plum…

It’s not every day that Darren Waller makes headline news, but yet here we are…

The New York Giants tight end is married to WNBA superstar Kelsey Plum … Or should I say WAS married to her.

The power couple announced their divorce after just one year of marriage.

The couple filed a joint petition for divorce in Clark County, Nevada.

Plum took to Instagram to share her feelings on the matter, expressing her devastation and hinting that she’s been on a very rocky road as of late.

“I walked through fire for that man, but now I see it’s time to go,” she wrote.

“God has given me an incredible life, and I’m truly so grateful for the profound love from my family and friends.”

“One day I’ll share my story, today is not that day. Thank you for the grace to process my pain, to forgive and move forward. Today and everyday I will continue to choose joy. Much love KP.”

On the other hand, Waller has yet to address the split publicly.

However, he recently posted photos from a trip to Hawaii just a day before filing for divorce.

In one of his captions, he mentioned embracing peace of mind, adding cryptic quotes about finding beauty in imperfection.

“Peace of mind is not a destination to reach; it’s a state of mind to embrace,” he wrote.

The couple tied the knot in March 2023 but faced early challenges when Waller was traded from the Las Vegas Raiders to the New York Giants just a week after their wedding.

“It’s not how anybody would really want to start being married,” Waller said at the time. “But if you ever find yourself trying to resist change, it’s never going to be a good thing.”

Rumors of potential trouble in their relationship began to surface just four months into their marriage when Waller posted a video of himself dancing to a breakup song on TikTok.

“When ya girl bout to leave you,” he captioned the video.

He would later insist that he was just messing around and that he and Plum were still going strong.

Waller had a disappointing first year with the Giants.

Despite being one of the more naturally-talented tight ends in the league, injuries continue to be a reoccuring problem for him.

Since the completetion of the season, Waller has been contemplating whether to retire or not.

Big Blue has kindly given him time and space to decide what he wants to do.

“I’m at the point now where I’m like, ‘Is this something that I want to continue to invest my time, invest my body, invest my mind in?’ And I’ve got to come to a decision on that,” Waller recently told People.

“It’s to the point where it’s like, man, I don’t feel like I’ve really done a lot. In some ways, my life hasn’t really started.”

Clearly, he’s had a lot more on his mind recently than just football.

There seemed to be a lot of people who were rooting for Waller and Plum … But at the end of the day, it didn’t work out.

Time will tell if we find out anything further about what may have happened to cause them to split so suddenly.

What are your thoughts on the abrupt divorce?

Do you think Waller will end up retiring?

If he was ever able to stay healthy, where would you rank him among the top tight ends in football???
