VIDEO: Rob Gronkowski Has A Very Interesting Choice To Replace Mac Jones As Pats QB

As the New England Patriots face a challenging period with consecutive blowout losses and screams for a quarterback change, former tight end Rob Gronkowski has suggested a bold solution.

Appearing on “Up & Adams” with Kay Adams, Gronkowski spoke of the Patriots struggles and what they should do at quarterback.

Emphasizing the need for a fresh and dynamic quarterback, Gronk suggested that New England should trade for Tennessee Titans backup Malik Willis.

“If you want to put some pressure on Mac [Jones], if you want to switch things up a little bit, they should trade for a quarterback,” Gronkowski stated.

“I’m not talking about a veteran quarterback; I’m talking about a quarterback who can possibly be their future, like Malik Willis.”

“Bring him in. Coach Belichick loves speed. He loves a quarterback who can also run the ball. He never really had that before, but I always remember when he was facing an opponent like that he would hype them up.”

Willis, a third-round pick for the Titans in the 2022 draft, has largely been considered a disappointment thus far in his young NFL career.

Of course, Ryan Tannehill is the starter in Tennessee. With Will Levis also in the fold, the chances of Willis being in the Titans long-term plans is slim.

In other words, it’s safe to say he’d be available in a trade at the right price.

Despite Gronk’s interesting suggestion, head coach Bill Belichick has stated over and over that the plan is to stick with Mac Jones as the starter this season.

What do you think about Gronk’s suggestion?

Do you think Jones can turn things around and become the long-term answer in New England?
