“Unacceptable”: Yanks Owner Hal Steinbrenner Plans To Leave No Stone Unturned In Fixing Bombers

It’s been a nightmare season for the New York Yankees, and owner Hal Steinbrenner isn’t shying away from the harsh reality.

The Yankees, who entered the 2023 season with high expectations, have been the most disappointing team in the American League (and possibly all of baseball.)

Coming off a 99-win season and an appearance in the American League Championship Series, the Yankees were poised to build off their success and make a run at their first World Series title since 2009.

However, disaster struck in every single way as it’s been an absolutely miserable 2023 season in the Bronx.

In a candid conversation with the Associated Press, Steinbrenner acknowledged the dire situation and pledged to leave no stone unturned in their quest for answers and solutions.

“We’re going to take a very deep dive into everything we’re doing,” Steinbrenner affirmed. “We’re looking to bring in possibly an outside company to really take a look at the analytics side of what we do, baseball operations in general. We’re going to have some very frank conversations with each other. This year was obviously unacceptable.”

Steinbrenner’s mention of hiring a third-party firm to conduct a comprehensive audit of the team’s analytics department is an interesting one. Many fans feel General Manager Brian Cashman and the front office rely way too heavy on analytics.

Yankees fans just hope Steinbrenner stays true to his word as frustration is growing greatly in the Bronx.

Fans are tired of him being cheap. At least cheap compared to how his old man used to operate.

If there was ever a “wake-up” call for the Yankees, this season is certainly it.

Hopefully Hal has gotten the message loud and clear.

What do you think the Yankees should do this offseason?
