ULTIMATE DISRESPECT??: One Fan Takes Cowboy Hate To Unprecedented Level With This Risky Move … What Will Happen??

As always, the Dallas Cowboys have given us plenty of content and storylines to chew on this offseason.

Following their nightmare 48-32 loss to the Green Bay Packers in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs, the Jones family stated that the front office would be “all-in” on fielding the best possible team for the 2024 season.

If going “all-in” meant doing virtually nothing, then the Jones’ have more than lived up to their promise.

One of the most annoying developments of the offseason for Cowboy fans was how the front office showed zero interest in pursuing free agent running back Derrick Henry.

Henry made it clear that he would have loved to sign with Dallas, but the Boys never contacted him.

This was just one of the many examples of Dallas’ inactivity over these past few months.

In fairness to the front office, the Cowboys aren’t exactly flushed with available money.

They have some extremely expensive decisions to make with quarterback Dak Prescott, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and linebacker Micah Parsons.

In other words, it would have been foolish to go around burning cash just for the hell of it. (However, there is certainly a middle ground to be found.)

Having said all of that, it will certainly be interesting to see how the Cowboys play this coming season.

In many ways, it’s a make-or-break year for head coach Mike McCarthy … And it will certainly be a make-or-break year for Prescott if the two sides aren’t able to work out an extension prior to the season.

Say what you want about the Cowboys lack of postseason success – and there’s plenty to say about it – but it’s hard to imagine them not being extremely competitive in the regular season.

Would it surprise anyone if Dallas is able to win 12 games again???

Well, as it turns out, winning 12 games would come as a complete shock to one individual.

As a matter of fact, that individual is hoping the Cowboys don’t win ANY games in 2024.

That’s because he (or she) placed a wager on the Cowboys to finish 0-17 this coming season.

Sure, the bet is only for $1 so let’s not make this bigger than it is.

As a matter of fact, at 1,000-to-1 odds, it actually seems like a pretty damn smart bet to make!

Having said that, the chances of the Cowboys finishing winless are extremely small. You could make the argument that Dallas going 0-17 this season would be the single biggest shock in NFL history.

After all, only two teams have ever gone winless in a 16+ game regular season: the 2008 Detroit Lions (0-16) and the 2017 Cleveland Browns (0-16).

Needless to say, the 2024 Cowboys have 100-times the talent level as those two teams did.

But hey, anything can happen in sports. That’s why they play the games, right???

At most books, the Cowboys current win total is set at 10.5 games.

There’s no reason why Dallas shouldn’t be right in the thick of the NFC East title race (or better) come late December.

But as we know, injuries can ruin a season at the snap of a finger. (Knock on wood, Cowboy fans!)

What are your thoughts on the wager? (I know, I know, it’s only for a buck, but still!)

What percent chance do you give the Cowboys of actually going 0-17?

On a more realistic note, what is your honest prediction for Dallas this season?

Will McCarthy be the head coach at this time a year from now? … More importantly, will Dak be the quarterback???
