Top Defensive Recruit Narrows His Final List Down To These Three Schools

Class of 2025 star defensive lineman Justus Terry, widely regarded as one of the elite players in his class, has whittled his list down to three schools: Georgia, USC, and Miami.

A standout from Manchester High School in Georgia, Terry is currently ranked as the top defensive lineman, the second-best player in Georgia, and the sixth overall prospect for his class by Rivals.

Standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing 275 pounds, Terry was initially committed to USC before decommitting on June 19.

He quickly revisited USC just two days later and also took a trip to Alabama on June 21.

While Miami seems to be the outsider in this competition, the Hurricanes have managed to stay in the race despite USC’s strong ties with Terry and Georgia’s obvious advantage as a local option.

The Bulldogs had Terry on campus for a visit on May 31.

Miami has yet to host Terry, but the Canes have emerged as a serious contender as the recruitment process nears its end.

No matter which school secures Terry’s commitment, they will be gaining a game-changing defensive force.

Last season, Terry was dominant as he totaled 78 tackles, including 6.5 tackles for loss, 13 sacks, 2 pass breakups, and 2 forced fumbles.

Of course, anything can happen, but at the end of the day, it’s hard to imagine Terry not signing with the Bulldogs.
