Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders has become one of the most talked-about players in all of college football.
Sanders’ remarkable abilities on the field have not only captured the attention of the college football world (and beyond) – but have also earned him praise from none other than the legend Tom Brady.
As a matter of fact, Brady has become somewhat of a mentor to the talented QB.
Following Colorado’s dramatic come-from-behind victory over the rival Colorado State Rams, Sanders revealed his mindset during the team’s final drive of regulation, which ultimately led to a 98-yard game-tying score.
“I went into ‘Brady mode’ on that final drive,” Sanders said, referencing the iconic work ethic and clutch performances of Brady.
Of course, the term “Brady mode” has become synonymous with the legendary quarterback’s ability to excel under pressure.

Sanders has had the privilege of working with Tom Brady in the past, and the two quarterbacks share a mentor-student relationship.
Brady recently offered some advice to the young quarterback during a conversation on his “Let’s Go!” podcast.
“Tom, do you think a college kid needs a Phantom, like a Rolls-Royce?” Shedeur’s father and coach, Deion (have you heard of him?), asked Brady.
Brady, known for his no-nonsense approach to the game, responded: “I think he needs to get his (butt) in the film room and spend as much time in there as possible.”
“[Shedeur] loves you to life… You have no idea how many times I use you to get on his butt… ‘So you think Tom [Brady] bought a Rolls Royce Phantom in college?’”

Despite the blunt advice, Brady had nothing but praise for Shedeur and his impressive start to the season.
“I’m so proud of him, just watching him grow and mature,” Brady said. “We all start at a certain place, and he had a lot of high expectations, and he’s embraced it. I love him, and it just makes me proud to see what he’s doing.”
What do you think of Shedeur?
Do you think he will end up being a franchise quarterback in the NFL?
