Things Have Gotten So Ugly In Philly That Eagles Fans Are Begging For THIS Coach To Come Back … Would He Fix The Mess??

The Philadelphia Eagles suffered another ugly loss on Monday Night Football as backup quarterback Drew Lock orchestrated a stunning comeback to give the Seattle Seahawks an improbable 20-17 victory.

The game’s defining moment came in the final seconds when Lock connected with wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba for a 29-yard touchdown pass, completing an impressive 92-yard drive.

“Tonight was about character and determination. We faced adversity, but the guys never gave up. We executed when it mattered the most,” Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said after the game.

Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts struggled throughout the game. He was allegedly under the weather, but it’s clear he hasn’t been playing at nearly the same level this season as he did last.

Part of the issue is Philly had the luxury of playing “on-script” throughout the majority of last season, due to them always having a lead it seemed.

The Eagles offensive coordinator last year was Shane Steichen … The same Shane Steichen who will likely win the Coach of the Year award this season thanks to the tremendous job he’s doing with the Indianapolis Colts.

Did people overlook just how important Steichen was to Hurts and the Eagles offense last season? … It certainly seems so.

Either way, something is off with Philly right now – and they are running out of time to fix it.

The frustration is building amongst Eagles fans. It’s gotten to the point where they’re calling for Nick Sirianni and the team to bring back a familiar face to fix the offense – former OC Frank Reich.

The Eagles of course made a recent adjustment to their coaching staff, handing defensive play-calling duties to senior assistant Matt Patricia … The move was an attempt to address the struggles under defensive coordinator Sean Desai.

At 10-4, the Eagles remain in the thick of the NFC playoff picture. The one thing they can feel good about is the fact that the rival Dallas Cowboys are having problems of their own.

However, if Philly wants to get back to the Super Bowl, it’s clear they have a whole lot of work to do.

Bringing Reich back onboard this season is probably unrealistic … However, the suggestion speaks to the frustration of the fans.

What are your thoughts on the state of the Eagles?

Will they be able to figure things out in time for the playoffs?

Can you realistically see them going on the road to San Franisco in January and knocking of the 49ers???
