The Top-Selling MLB Jerseys Have Been Revealed & The List May Surprise You

The MLB All-Star break is the unofficial midway point of the baseball season. The sport is in a very healthy place with stars sprinkled throughout several markets across the country.

The list of the top-selling jerseys was just released and some of the rankings may surprise you.

In a stunning display of popularity, Atlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. and Los Angeles Angels pitcher/designated hitter Shohei Ohtani have not only secured the most votes for the MLB All-Star Game but also boast the highest-selling jerseys in the first half of the season.

The 25-year-old Acuna emerged as the frontrunner, while the 29-year-old Ohtani closely followed suit. This remarkable achievement marks the first time an Atlanta Braves player has topped the list since the issuance of the rankings, which began in the 2010 season.

Among the top-selling jerseys, an impressive 14 out of the 20 players have been selected for tonight’s highly anticipated All-Star Game.

The renowned list includes San Diego’s Fernando Tatis Jr., securing the third spot, trailing behind Acuna and Ohtani.

Tatis had previously faced a suspension for using performance-enhancing drugs last season, resulting in him missing the first few weeks of this year as part of his 80-game punishment.

The remaining spots in the top 10 are occupied by esteemed players such as Aaron Judge, Jose Altuve, Mookie Betts, Julio Rodriguez, Matt Olson, Alex Bregman, and Mike Trout.

The Atlanta Braves, in particular, have made a significant impact, with four of their players claiming positions within the top 20. Austin Riley sits at No. 11, closely followed by Ozzie Albies at No. 12.

Meanwhile, the Houston Astros and the Los Angeles Dodgers each boast three players within the top 20. Notably, Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw secures the final spot on the list, ranking at No. 20.

These impressive sales figures and the overwhelming support shown through All-Star Game voting serve as a testament to the immense popularity and excitement surrounding not just the players on the list, but the sport as a whole.
