Legendary (college) football coach Urban Meyer said that Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett is the most underrated college football player of all-time.
Appearing on the “All Things Covered” podcast with Bryant McFadden and Patrick Peterson, Meyer spoke about how amazed he was with Bennett’s unbelievable career.
As most know, his story truly is a fairy tail – Growing up in Georgia, being doubted all his life because of his small size, he ends up walking-on at Georgia – Continuing to be doubted, counted out and cast-off, Bennett ultimately gets his chance… and proceeds to lead the Bulldogs to back-to-back national championships.
Count Meyer as a fan…
“Stetson Bennett is the most underrated player, I think, that has ever played the game… I can’t believe how small that guy was. But he’s a monster, his leadership, his toughness, incredible.”
Meyer’s talent evaluations or any NFL thoughts are as good as a chimp throwing darts at a list of players.

Now Bennett will try to prove the doubters wrong once again… This time, in the NFL.
