Surprise, Surprise: Felony Charges DROPPED Against Patrick Mahomes’ Brother As Alleged Victim Refuses To Cooperate

In an outcome that some people saw coming, a judge granted approval for prosecutors to drop felony charges against Jackson Mahomes, the younger brother of Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

The charges were related to an alleged incident at a Kansas City-area bar in February 2023.

The motion to dismiss the three felony charges of aggravated sexual battery was filed by prosecutors on Tuesday. The charges were connected to the accusation that Jackson forcibly kissed the female owner of the establishment.

The motion highlighted the alleged victim’s lack of cooperation, with the Kansas City Star reporting that she “has made her lack of cooperation abundantly clear.”

Furthermore, the motion revealed that the alleged victim “has not been truthful to police.”

Prosecutors also added that the alleged interaction with Jackson Mahomes was “consensual.”

In addition to the felony charges, Jackson Mahomes faced a misdemeanor battery charge for allegedly shoving a male staffer on the same night of the encounter with the restaurant owner.

Prosecutors have indicated their intention to continue pursuing this charge, as reported by Fox 4 Kansas City.

Jackson Mahomes’ attorney, Brandon Davies, released a statement to Fox 4 saying: “Like I said from the beginning, Jackson has done nothing wrong. We had full confidence that the truth of the matter would ultimately be revealed. The defense will reserve further comment until the remaining count is disposed of.”

This development marks a significant shift in the legal proceedings surrounding Jackson Mahomes, who has consistently maintained his innocence throughout the investigation.

What happened between that night in February and now is anyone’s guess … Many people will certainly have strong theories.
