Stephen A. Smith has been open about his feelings regarding Skip Bayless’s recent decisions.
After Shannon Sharpe left the show ‘Undisputed’, there were whispers that FS1 was in talks with Keyshawn Johnson and Michael Irvin to join the program. Both have previously appeared alongside Stephen A. on ESPN’s popular show. However, their appearances were short-lived due to various reasons, with Irvin leaving because of a personal matter and Johnson because of budget constraints.
Despite the shakeup, Stephen A. will soon be joined by Shannon Sharpe on ‘First Take’. But he has expressed his disappointment with FS1 for recruiting the former NFL personalities.
Stephen A. expressed, “I have a deep respect for Skip Bayless. However, there’s a special bond among people who share similar backgrounds. And that’s how I feel about Keyshawn Johnson and Michael Irvin.”
It’s going to be exciting to see how the rivalry between the two channels evolves in the coming days.
