“SKIN TURNING BLUE”: Colts Owner Jim Irsay Found “Unresponsive” After Suspected Overdose…

According to a shocking report by TMZ, beloved Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay was discovered unresponsive and struggling for breath during a suspected overdose incident that took place in December.

According to police documents, the incident was labeled as an “overdose” and “overdose/poisoning.”

Police reportedly responded to a call at Irsay’s home in Carmel, Indiana, around 4:30am on December 8th. An individual had informed the police that Irsay was found unconscious on his bathroom floor, with his skin reportedly turning blue.

When law enforcement arrived, Irsay reportedly was in bed but experiencing breathing difficulties, a weak pulse, and constricted pupils.

According to TMZ, police attempted to wake Irsay but were unsuccessful. He showed a slight response after receiving one dose of Narcan, a medication used to counteract opiate overdoses.

Paramedics later arrived to administer life-saving efforts, and Irsay was transported to a nearby hospital via ambulance.

The police were provided with information about the medications Irsay was taking by a caretaker. However, the report stated: “At this time, it is unknown what Mr. Irsay had ingested prior to our arrival.”

This incident occurred approximately one month before the Colts announced on January 9th that Irsay was undergoing treatment for a “severe respiratory illness,” causing him to miss a scheduled performance with his band.

Colts reporters noted that the usually-visible Irsay had not been seen in public for several weeks.

“While this unfortunately means he won’t be able to perform with his band this week in Los Angeles, he is receiving excellent care and looks forward to returning to the stage as soon as possible,” the Colts statement said at the time.

As far as this current situation, the team stated that he’s still recovering from “respiratory illness” and that they “will have no further comment on his personal health and continue to ask that Jim and his family’s privacy be respected.”

Irsay has been open about his struggles with addiction.

During an episode of “Real Sports,” Irsay disclosed that he’s been to rehab “at least 15 times.”

Regarded as one of the more popular owners in the NFL, Irsay has always been known for being genuine and extremely charitable.

What are your thoughts on the situation???
