Shocking Announcement From The College Football World

There was enormous news out of the college football world last night as the SEC announced that Texas and Oklahoma would be joining the conference in 2024, a year earlier than originally planned.

As part of the early departure agreement, the schools will pay the Big 12 a total of $100 million.

Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark said in a statement: “As I have consistently stated, the conference would only agree to an early withdrawal if it was in our best interest for Oklahoma and Texas to depart prior to June 30, 2025. By reaching this agreement, we are now able to accelerate our new beginning as a 12-team league and move forward in earnest with our initiatives and future planning.”

In July, the Big 12 will officially welcome new members BYU, Central Florida, Cincinnati and Houston.

Whether you love or hate the SEC, there’s no denying it’s the best conference in the country.

And with the addition of these two legendary programs, come 2024, the best conference will get even better…

Fan reaction was passionate and plentiful…
