REPORT: There’s A NEW FAVORITE To Land Star QB Arch Manning In The Transfer Portal … Do You See This Happening??

Texas Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers has officially decided to pass up on the NFL Draft and return to Austin for the 2024 season.

Ewers is an extremely talented quarterback and projects to be a potential franchise QB in the NFL one day.

However, the first thing most people thought when they heard Ewers’ announcement was “what the hell does this mean for Arch Manning?!”

The famous nephew of both Peyton and Eli is now looking at riding the bench for a second straight second as Ewers is expected to hold onto his starting spot.

In this day and age where we’ve seen well over a THOUSAND (!!!) players enter the transfer portal, many people expect Manning to do the same.

If you’re wondering who’s forecasted to be the favorites to land Manning should he look to transfer, it’s none other than Lane Kiffin and the Ole Miss Rebels.

Of course, the Manning name is iconic in Oxford with Arch’s uncle Eli and grandfather Archie both playing there. (His father Cooper was supposed to play there as well before he was diagnosed with a career-ending injury.)

Also considered a strong contender for Manning is Brian Kelly and the LSU Tigers. (Manning grew up in New Orleans.)

Having said all of this, all signs point to Manning remaining at Texas. He has gone on the record and stated that he has no desire to leave Austin.

It’s not to say that Arch won’t change his mind, but the Manning’s are different.

Most players in Arch’s position wouldn’t think twice about transferring – especially when they could virtually hand-pick where they want to play.

However, it seems like he will remain at Texas, even if he has to sit out another season while he waits his turn.

Of course, fans (especially in the SEC) will continue to hope and pray Manning changes his mind…

However, it looks like all of us will most likely have to continue to wait to see Arch take meaningful snaps with the Longhorns…

What are your thoughts?

Do you think he’s going to keep his word at stay at Texas?

Or do you think his itch to play will be too tough to resist and he’ll look to transfer?

In a fantasy world where he DOES transfer – Where should he go???
