Former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel recently caused a major stir among football fans after being spotted wearing a Miami Dolphins hat in a photo circulating on social media.
Speculation immediately arose about a potential comeback for the once highly-touted “Johnny Football.”
However, Manziel swiftly put an end to the rumors.
“Absolutely not, my time for football has came and went. I just love Tua and Mike McDaniel so I’m always going to show support. I’m a fan of people in the sport of football, not teams,” Manziel tweeted on X.

Manziel rose to fame during his electrifying college career at Texas A&M where he won the Heisman Trophy in the 2012 season and led a resurgence of the Aggies program.
Who could ever forget that epic win over Alabama??
Football is the ultimate team-sport, but there’s no denying Johnny Football basically single-handily beat the Tide that day…

Unfortunately, that would be the height of his football success as it all came crashing down from there.
Drafted in the first round by the Cleveland Browns in 2014, Manziel’s professional career was an absolute disaster, marred by off-field conduct issues and underwhelming performances on the field.
He later admitted that he self-sabotaged his professional career.
His partying lifestyle combined with his lack of work-ethic made him one of the biggest busts in NFL history.
teams will be stupid to sign johnny cant play football no more. Doesnt have the discipline to earn it

Having not played in the NFL since 2015, it’s safe to say Manziel’s career – at least at the NFL level – is finished.
The old “Johnny Football” might have played into the whole Dolphins hat story for attention purposes … But the new and improved Manziel put a quick end to any speculation.
(Not to mention the fact that any speculation of him making a comeback – let alone to a team with a quarterback solidly in-place – is flat-out silly.)
Trailer: Johnny Manziel’s new documentary ‘Untold: Johnny Football’ is now available on Netflix.
Manziel opened up about his plans to commit suicide after spending all of his money and buying a gun.

What are your thoughts on Manziel’s career as a whole?
If he was able to keep his act together, do you think he could have been a franchise quarterback?
Where does he rank among the biggest busts in recent history???
