In what seems like a yearly tradition, the football world is abuzz with speculation and excitement about the future of Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh.
Despite leading the Wolverines to the College Football Playoff amid challenges posed by various sanctions, rumors are swirling that Harbaugh might be eyeing a return to the NFL.
The question is where would be the best fit? … There’s expected vacancies in Washington, Chicago, Los Angeles and amazingly, New England.
According to ESPN’s Mike Greenberg, Harbaugh has previously drooled over Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert and fantasized about coaching him.
Greenberg recounted a meeting with Harbaugh approximately a year and a half ago at the burial of a mutual friend. During their conversation, Harbaugh passionately praised Herbert, going on for five minutes about why he considers him the best young quarterback in the league.

The news quickly circulated on social media, with Chargers fans drooling themselves at the thought of Big Jim coming to LA.

Greenberg made it clear that he did not initiate the discussion with Harbaugh about the Chargers, emphasizing that it naturally evolved during their conversation.
He also shared his belief that Harbaugh might not stay with Michigan beyond this season.
