The Allen Police Department has confirmed the existence of an investigation but remains tight-lipped about the details, citing the inquiry as being “in its very early stages.”
Allen PD Public Information Officer Jonathan Maness addressed the matter in an email to ProFootballTalk, stating: “There has been an allegation, but we are not prepared to release any details at this time due to our investigation being in its very early stages.”

Irvin’s legal representative, Levi McCathern, swiftly responded to the allegations, vehemently denying any wrongdoing on the part of his client.
McCathern told ProFootballTalk: “There is absolutely no truth to it. Michael Irvin vehemently denies what he is being accused of. He didn’t do anything wrong or inappropriate.”
