The future of New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick will undoubtedly be the biggest story of the upcoming offseason.
It’s becoming more and more likely that his days in New England are coming to an end.
If he was to be let go, would he be interested in coaching somewhere else … According to most reports, that answer is a resounding YES.
Appearing on The Pat McAfee Show, former NFL executive (and friend of Belichick) Michael Lombardi ignited speculation about the future of legendary coach.
“Bill Belichick still wants to coach and obviously the Patriots team isn’t playing well … If Robert Kraft feels like it’s time to make a change, that’s fine … Bill Belichick still wants to prove that he’s a really good coach and he’ll go somewhere else,” Lombardi confidently stated.

The 2-9 Patriots are in the middle of a nightmare season. Despite the struggles, Lombardi is convinced that Belichick remains determined to continue his coaching career, even if it means parting ways with the place he’s called home for so long.
“Bill Belichick should have no problem finding another head coaching job next year,” Lombardi asserted.
You have to imagine that’s 100% true … Whether it’s the Cowboys, Commanders, Chargers or Panthers – there shouldn’t be a lack of interest or intrigue in Belichick.
