Ravens Star Indicates Bill Belichick Is Not “Elite” & Is “Getting Washed”: Does He Have A Point??

The “is it Brady or Belichick” debate has raged on ever since Brady left New England for Tampa Bay.

Of course, most people feel the answer is Brady, since he miraculously won the Super Bowl in his very first year with the Bucs. Meanwhile, the Patriots haven’t been nearly the same since TB12 left.

Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey took the debate a step further and added fuel to the fire with his recent comments on the Punch Line Podcast.

“Is Belichick elite, or is Tom Brady elite? That’s the million-dollar question,” Humphrey said during the podcast. “It’s looking more like Brady.”

Humphrey thinks that the 71-year-old future Hall of Famer might be “getting washed.”

Humphrey’s candid remarks have reignited the long-standing discussion over whether Belichick’s coaching genius or Brady’s unparalleled talent was the driving force behind the Patriots dynasty.

“#Ravens star CB Marlon Humphrey openly questions if #Patritos Bill Belichick is an elite coach: “Is Belichick elite, or Tom Brady elite? it’s looking more like Brady.” … “I don’t know if Belichick was ever daggum dirty.” … “It’s been three losing seasons?…. It looks like some people are getting washed.”

The statistics since Brady’s departure have been less than flattering for Belichick. The Patriots have posted a record of 25-28, including a playoff loss, since Brady left New England.

The Patriots are struggling to find their way back to the league’s elite class.

One of their key areas of concern has been the performance of thei offense, which has failed to rank higher than 15th over the last three seasons.

Last year, the unit struggled mightily for several reasons, which prompted Belichick to rehire offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien in an attempt to rekindle the team’s identity, now led by quarterback Mac Jones.

Belichick boasts an unparalleled resume among NFL head coaches, holding the records for the most playoff wins (31), conference championships (nine), and Super Bowl victories (six).

I think I know your answer – but who is most responsible for the Patriots dynasty?
