Prominent Personality Says That Christian McCaffrey Is The BEST Running Back In NFL HISTORY … Do You Agree??

The Christian McCaffrey hype train is rolling along at an unprecedented speed – and for good reason.

He is in the middle of the best season of his career and looks more and more like the straw that stirs the drink for the NFL-best San Francisco 49ers.

McCaffrey’s statistics are spectacular – 1,292 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns to go along with 509 receiving yards and an additional seven touchdowns.

But we all know statistics don’t nearly tell the entire story of McCaffrey’s phenomenal impact on the Niners.

San Francisco is the clear-cut Super Bowl favorites and will most likely be hoisting the Lombardi Trophy come February.

If they do, McCaffrey will be one of the main reasons why.

While much of the debate has been which 49ers star deserves to win the MVP more, McCaffrey or quarterback Brock Purdy, FOX Sports personality Colin Cowherd took a look at the bigger picture.

“I still contend that Christian McCaffrey is the 49ers MVP, not Brock Purdy. Christian McCaffrey is the world’s best running back. Brock Purdy is a good quarterback, maybe very good. Maybe I’m under selling him. But I see otherworldly talent here,” Cowherd said on The Herd.

“He’s on pace to have 24 touchdowns and 2200 yards on a team that is stacked with offensive weapons. That is unbelievable. I think he’s the most talented running back ever in terms of running, blocking, catching, making people miss, running past them … It’s as good as anything I’ve ever seen,” he added.

At 27 years old, McCaffrey seems to be getting better and better.

Of course, his position would tell you that all the mileage on his tires will soon catch up to him.

However, McCaffrey clearly isn’t your typical running back – so who knows how much longer he’ll have at this “otherworldly” level.

As far as the MVP goes, even Purdy admits that McCaffrey is the most deserving…

But what’s most impressive and admirable about the Niners is the fact that they don’t really give a crap about individual awards.

They certainly seem to have the best culture and overall “buy-in” in the entire league.

Can anyone stop them from winning the Super Bowl this season?

As far as McCaffrey, do you agree with Cowherd that he’s the best running back of all-time?

If not, who do you put ahead of him???
