Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel’s way with words took center stage during a recent episode of ESPN’s ManningCast. On this Monday night broadcast, NFL legend Peyton Manning shared a text message he had received from Coach McDaniel earlier in the week. Manning had reached out, hoping to discuss the upcoming Dolphins-Titans game, which ManningCast was slated to cover.
In response, McDaniel delivered an emphatic and not-safe-for-work reply, exclaiming, “Um f* yes you’re f* Payton manning bro!”

Peyton and his brother Eli Manning couldn’t help but share a laugh over the animated response, with Peyton humorously pointing out that McDaniel had misspelled his name. They playfully speculated whether McDaniel had confused him with Sean Payton, the head coach of the Denver Broncos.
However, the joyous banter took a backseat to disappointment for Miami fans when the Dolphins faced off against the Titans.
In a dramatic turn of events, the Miami Dolphins, hindered by a less-than-optimal Tyreek Hill, squandered a 14-point lead in the final 2 minutes and 40 seconds, ultimately succumbing to a shocking 28-27 loss against the Tennessee Titans. The Dolphins seemed poised for victory after capitalizing on late turnovers and converting them into touchdowns. However, they inexplicably eased off the accelerator, and the consequences were severe.
This collapse was particularly surprising given that the Dolphins had entered the game boasting the NFL’s most potent offense and a golden opportunity to seize the top seed in the AFC.
Nevertheless, despite this disheartening loss, the Miami Dolphins maintain their position at the helm of the AFC East with a commendable 9-4 record.
