Peyton Manning Is Officially Heading Back To Tennessee: Once A Vol, Always A Vol!

Legendary Tennessee quarterback Peyton Manning is making a triumphant return to his roots.

This fall, he will take on a new role at his alma mater, the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.

Manning has been appointed as a professor of practice at the university’s College of Communication and Information (CCI) for the upcoming fall semester.

In a statement released on Monday, the University of Tennessee announced Manning’s appointment and his eagerness to contribute to the journey of students.

Manning made it clear he is excited to return to his roots…

“My time as a student in the College of Communication and Information was a foundational experience during which I learned critical skills and messaging techniques that I continue to put to use almost daily,” Manning said in a press release.

“I look forward to working with the college’s talented faculty, and directly with students in an effort to ensure they are well prepared for their future careers.”

The 47-year-old Manning is embarking on a unique partnership with CCI faculty, bringing his wealth of experience and knowledge to the classroom.

He will be involved in teaching a diverse range of subjects that align with the college’s curriculum, including sports reporting, video production, performance, leadership, communication, and public speaking.

Besides being one of the greatest football players of all-time, Manning has been extremely successful off-the-field as well. He founded Omaha Productions, which always pumps out great work.

Many former players, especially those at Manning’s level, prefer to ride off into the sunset and count their millions when they retire.. But not Peyton.

Credit to him for staying productive and giving back to his alma mater.

Hey, it’d be kind of cool to have Peyton as one of your “professors,” huh?
