Paul Finebaum Destroys “Insecure” Program For Being “Petty & Thin-Skinned”

ESPN’s Paul Finebaum has long been a thorn in the side of ACC fans, particularly those of Florida State.

Known for his sharp critiques of Dabo Swinney and his mocking of Florida State’s College Football Playoff snub, Finebaum has solidified his status as a villain in ACC territory.

Most recently, Finebaum stirred the pot during an appearance on McElroy and Cubelic in the Morning.

The conversation turned to the upcoming Florida State vs. Georgia Tech game, the marquee matchup of Week 0, and Finebaum did not hold back his feelings toward Seminole fans.

Finebaum had previously predicted that Florida State, currently ranked #10 in the AP preseason poll, would likely fall out of the rankings entirely by the season’s end.

Needless to say, that comment enraged the Seminole faithful … In response to the backlash, Finebaum doubled down on his criticism.

“The pettiness of the Florida State fans never ceases to amaze me,” Finebaum remarked. “Every year, I try to decide who has the most thin-skinned, insecure fanbase in the country. Right now, at least going into Week 0, it’s Florida State.”

But Finebaum wasn’t done. He continued to taunt the Seminole supporters, even making light of their upcoming trip to Ireland for the season opener.

“I hope their fans enjoy the trip to Dublin,” he said. “Maybe have a couple of pops of that Irish brew, because they need to chill out.

“I mean, this fanbase – after that pathetic performance last year of crying and the Twitter attacking of anyone in the media that dared to go against them – they still haven’t recovered,” he concluded.

What are your thoughts on Finebaum’s comments?

Are Florida State fans indeed the most thin-skinned in the entire country???
