Paul Finebaum Breaks His Silence On Deion Sanders Following Colorado’s Humiliating Loss

In a highly anticipated showdown, Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes were absolutely destroyed by Dan Lanning’s Oregon Ducks on Saturday.

The 42-6 final score is not indicative of how lopsided the game was.

It’s back to the drawing board for Coach Prime and the road won’t be getting any easier. Colorado is set to welcome in reigning Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams and the USC Trojans this coming Saturday.

One of ESPN’s lead college football voices, Paul Finebaum, gave his honest take on where things stand for Sanders and the Buffs following the humiliating loss.

“Beating TCU got way too much credit because TCU had been a playoff team and national championship contender last year. The other two (wins) didn’t mean very much,” Finebaum said on the Matt Barrie Show.

“Beating a woebegone Nebraska team that pretty much everybody in the country can raise their hand and say they beaten and a terrible Colorado State team … It was just the attention, it was a nova in the sky, and we all jumped in, and I’m glad I went along for the ride.”

What is your take on Deion and the Buffaloes?

Did people fall for the hype?

Or do you think Prime can get the Buffs turned around?
