Panic Time??: Paul Finebaum Reveals The One SEC Team He’s Most Worried About…

Agree with him or not, in the world of college football, few voices hold as much weight as Paul Finebaum’s.

Renowned for his insights and expertise, Finebaum’s opinions carry considerable influence, especially in the SEC conference.

Appearing on the Matt Barrie Show, Finebaum voiced his concerns about the state of the Tennessee Volunteers football team.

The Volunteers had a tough outing last Saturday, suffering a disappointing 29-16 defeat at the hands of the rival Florida Gators, which marked their third loss in the last five SEC games.

Finebaum didn’t mince words when discussing the current state of Tennessee’s program.

“I think that was Tennessee’s third loss in its last five SEC games,” he said. “Remember the South Carolina game last year?

“You have to be a little, not a little, seriously concerned if you’re a Tennessee fan because I sat with some of the experts yesterday, and they told me, ‘Joe Milton, he’ll be fine.’ Well, he wasn’t fine.”

This comment by Finebaum appears to reflect the growing unease among Tennessee fans regarding the team’s performance, particularly quarterback Joe Milton.

Milton was expected to be a key player for the Volunteers, but his recent struggles have raised questions about his ability to lead the team effectively.

It’s not necessarily time to panic in Knoxville. However, the loss to the Gators and the fashion it came in was certainly alarming.

What do you think of the Vols?

Is Finebaum overreacting? Or is it time to worry?
