Ohio State’s roster continues to see changes as wide receiver Julian Fleming, a former five-star recruit, has announced his decision to enter the transfer portal. Fleming, who was highly touted in 2020, posted his gratitude to Buckeye Nation on X.

While Fleming had a promising start with the Buckeyes, he didn’t quite meet the high expectations set for him. With the transfer portal now open, he’ll explore opportunities elsewhere to continue his collegiate football career.
Quarterback Kyle McCord, who had also entered the transfer portal, is believed by many to have faced challenges in securing the starting quarterback position. In his announcement, McCord expressed his gratitude for his time at Ohio State and the lasting relationships he formed during his tenure in Columbus.
Ohio State recently missed out on a College Football Playoff spot following their loss to Michigan and has seen over 10 players enter the transfer portal. Their next game is against Missouri in the Cotton Bowl on December 29.
