Fresh off a spectacular rookie season, Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud seems to be well on his way towards cementing himself as one of the top QB’s in the NFL.
However, some fans are concerned that he might be falling victim to his new-found fame and superstardom.
The 22-year-old Stroud was recently spotted with model and rapper Amber Rose. The two left Travis Scott’s celebrity softball game together in Houston.

While there has been no confirmation of a romantic involvement between the two, the sighting has triggered a wave of criticism and speculation.
There is a significant age gap between Stroud and the 40-year-old Rose … Although that doesn’t mean much at all.
Fans are more concerned that Rose will take his focus away from football and the sighting might be a sign that success has gone to Stroud’s head a little too much.

After the clip of them together went viral, Rose took to social media to address the situation.
She revealed that they barely knew each other and that their interaction was purely platonic.

“We literally don’t know each other and only met yesterday at a softball game. The sprinter left and he was nice enough to give me a ride to my hotel thx again C.J. Stroud,” Rose posted on her Instagram.

Some fans didn’t buy Rose’s explanation and suspect that the pair are indeed an item – or are on their way towards becoming one.
Stroud, who has been nothing but humble and gracious all throughout his rookie season, was also spotted in the Kardashian private suite at the Super Bowl.
Some took that as another red flag.

Is Stroud getting caught up in his fame a little too much?
Will the “Hollywood world” distract him from being the best quarterback he can be?

Or do you look at it as “it’s no one’s business” and “he can do whatever the hell he wants!”
Plenty of people feel that way as well.
Either way, he does deserve a good amount of slack, especially since he not only massively exceeded expectations this year, but he’s handled everything with nothing but absolute class – both on and off the field.
